Rob, fresh out of college, is determined to follow in his father’s footstep as a commercial lobsterman along the rocky coast of Maine. Economic obstacles crush his dream and he contemplates taking the easy path to ‘fast’ money.  A gamble that could test his true grit.

Meanwhile, Rob befriends Lisa, the beautiful daughter of Clarence Canterbury, a successful motion picture magnet.  He is determined that Lisa, his only child, will have the very best that life has to offer. Rob falls deeply in love with Lisa, a girl that some consider out of Rob’s league.

Mobsters kidnap Lisa and place a three million dollar ransom on her life. While Rob wonders how he can save Lisa, the mobsters are determined to make Rob pay with his own life for disrupting their marijuana deal.
