Eugene Elcik

Gene is a 79 year old Maine native who loves the land and it’s people.  As he grew up he noticed his surroundings and how others interacted with each other and all that encompassed them. Previous employment saw in a variety of roles, including a Civilian Recreation Naval Officer, adjunct college instructor, and appraiser, however his affection for Maine is where his heart is and has helped bring his stories to life.

His desire to write intricate, true to life fiction fueled his creation of Desperation of Souls. The need to write hasn’t stopped with his first book: another is on its way, keep your eye out for it!

He has been married for 55 years to the same wonderful woman, who has seen him toil over his keyboard and provided him with the encouragement to continue to write a variety of genre with his vivid imagination.
